What we know
The akhalteke is the most ancient pure-blood breed of horses in the world. They have been known since 3000BC ( The Arabian breed was started in the first Century AD) and were raised in the region called Nissa, The capitol of the Persian State, currently called Turkmenistan
The akhalteken is a big horse that has unique golden colors , strong muscular legs, and a sleek head. These horses are elegant, beautiful, noble, and very intelligent
The best Akhaltexes are in Russia and Turkmenistan. In 1999 and 2002 practically all of the pure-blood akhaltekien horses in the U S were evaluated; the results showed that the largest and most hi quality group of the pure-blood Akhaltexes in America exist in Texas, owned by Tito Pintecorvo. ( The results were published in Akhalteke Quarterly , in 1999 and 2002) Suddenly for the World and the U S , because of the export of Akhalteke horses from Russia, By Tito Pontecorvo, the U S stands now in the third place in the amount and quality of the alhalteke horses in the World, after Russia and Turkmenistan
Tito Pintecorvo has a PHP in Oceanology abd in the U S he has 80 pure blood , hight-quality Akhaltekes and in Russia around 100 horses that every years are winning the titles of Champion of the World
What the Famios hyppologists of our Century said about the Akhalteke Horses
"The ALhalteke Breed of the Horse represents the last drops from that creek of pure blood that produced the breeds of galloping horses of the world"
Professor V. Vitt 1937
"The Akhalteke breed of Horse is more special and was created mush earler than the Arabian breed; it was throght by some breeders that the Akhalteke was produced from the Arab breed , but that is not correct. The Akhalteke is a historically separate breed of the ancient galloping horse"
A. Brauner 1916
“In a few words one can say about Akhalteke horses that they are unusually intelligent, graceful, and elegant like ballerinas; they exhibit a can’s elasticity and astonishing plasticity of movement.
In this breed there are champions in dressage and jumping in Olympic level of the Sports”
Elena Petushkova, Olympic and World Champion 1997
